a building in the past (over wood clapboard) ... a. the brick must be preserved. b. the brick must be removed in order to restore the original facade. c. the brick may be preserved if the owner chooses. d. it is unlikely that the underlying structure has been damaged. RIGHT The guidelines are intended to guide changes that owners plan to make to historic buildings. They do not force the owners to make any changes. If later additions do not severely endanger the structure, they may be preserved.
