a.      should only be replaced with similar materials.

b.     should be replaced with asphalt shingles.

c.     could be replaced with wood shingles.

d.     should always be repaired and not replaced.

RIGHT !

If the roof is damaged beyond repair, a different material could be used, but in general the guidelines require that similar materials be used to repair a damaged roof.
