| Bobby Blake and Dolly Designed for Hubley by Grace Gebbie Drayton (1877-1936), who also designed the Campbell Kids for the Campbell Soup Company. Her previous name (by first marriage) was Grace Gebbie (GG) Wiederseim, the signature she signed on all the Cupie Doll postcards she invented around 1910. These doorstops are signed, in the casting, with her distinctive signature (large script G's with long tails) on the back of each base. Bobby = 9 and 13/16 inches. Dolly = 9 and 9/16 inches. |
